17/09/2010 It might be cheap but you might wait a long time to get your money if you put in a motor accident claim. My grandson had an accident in February 2010, car written off. Still waiting for payment from Kwik Fit, they keep asking for information which has been sent four times now. I lent him £700 so that he could get another car to take him to work, really hope they get their finger out soon.

08/05/2010 Constant sales calles trying to sell extra cover and when I said I didn't they put them on my policy anyway...so check your online bill. Sales over customer service. Unlike the guys down the road from Quick Fit who service my car who know how to deliver customer Wow!

14/10/2008 Who knew Kwik Fit did insurance? Turns out they do not only car insurance but also travel, home and pet cover, though their car insurance is provided through other insurers. Their quotation form was frustratingly slow, often having to reload after I selected an option. Even though I selected a voluntary excess of zero, the quote was still competitive - it was the second-cheapest quote I've had from anyone. They also provide a 10% discount at Kwik Fit centres, a free courtesy car and £150 personal belongings cover - seems like a good deal to me.

30/06/2008 Thanks to taking out insurance with KwikFit I also got a super deal on a GPS system! Whether it's any good where I live remains to be seen. I thought it might be quite expensive to compensate for the offer, and although not the cheapest quote, it certainly wasn't the most expensive I got. The site was very honest about the policy and they made you tick a box to say you had read all the important information before you could go ahead with the quote. To be honest though, it was all just the standard bumf that is given on all the sites. Even though you could tick to be not included on the email contact list I am pretty sure that I can be expecting some marketing phone calls soon!

27/05/2008 I found this to be a reasonably well laid out website. What I really liked was the division between the information required just to obtain a quick quote as opposed to if I then decided to apply. I used this for pet insurance and obtained an indicative quote really quickly, extremely useful if I was looking for comparative prices and cover.

12/05/2008 Comparison site. But Hey. Check this one out. So very very cheap! Quote was quite lengthy - and I don't really think I would look to kwikfit for house and pet insurance. But really - it is that cheap. And you get £100 off a £150 sat nav system - which I don't particularly need but I like a bargain anyway.
