13/09/2010 You know the person who said on 19/10/2009 that the contact centre is in a "very backward" part of the world deserves everything he/she gets in terms of service. What an absolutely awful thing to say about Newport. I've been researching contact centres for 20 years and in 18 countries. The performance of staff in South Wales is market leading. Admiral Insurance have grown to a FTSE 100 company from their Newport, Cardiff & Swansea sites. What a stupid comment!!! I use Lloyds TSB and have nothing but praise for them.

20/08/2010 i was pickpocketed on holiday and lost all my money with in a hour of arriving and have the travel insurance with my lloyds tsb platinium card, when i phoned was told sorry cant help till you return to uk this insurance is totaly useless and very very basic for what i thought was a premium service check small print before you travel

30/05/2010 In my opinion, this company are appalling. They took 7 weeks to send a Loss Adjuster....yes 7 weeks! and then they denied my claim with no bonafide reason other than a ridiculous reason which I have proven to be incorrect. And they are nothing to do with Lloyds TSB. I have been a Lloyds TSB customer for 30 years and not one complaint. Do not think they are linked they are not. This company are appalling, frankly I have researched and the only company with a reasonable reputation are Hiscox. But they are all bandits to a certain extent. They will jump through hoops not to pay out. They do not want your goodwill, they want your money and yes you will take your business elsewhere but there are plenty of others to take your place.

21/10/2009 LloydsTsb insurance, is not LLoyds bank- they are mearly 'sales people'; I had the (inclusive) phone insurance with them, actualy the truly Awful LifeStyleGroup (phones4u offshot) Appaling service, months to fix, and then TWICE tried to fob me off with 'reconditioned' second hand handset, when the policy clearly states NEW. -footnote, the insurance is not "free" as there is a £35 excess for starters, plus £8 postage to send it recorded. Lloyds were not in the least interested about the turly applaing service that a company 'borrowing' their name was doing with its customers.

20/10/2009 We have experienced nothing but bad service from this company. Our main complaint with Lloyds TSB Home insurance is the unacceptable time taken to instigate repairs to our property following a fire, a total of ten months to carry out thirteen days work, appalling.

19/10/2009 This company are the worst. I was burgled which was traumatic. I have had home and contents insurance for many years so I submitted a claim to replace the relatively modest amount taken. To do this one has to call a premium phone # that Lloyds make money on. Calls are not returned. The Call Centre is based in a very backward part of the world. The staff tell blatant lies and progress is only possible by making formal complaints. Their attitude is be as ignorant and slow as possible and the claimant will go away but I won't. They have instructed a loss adjuster firm Robbins that also use a premium phone line and won't call at a time that suits claimants. I'm sure I'll end up in court and Lloyds staff will get a very fat bonus.

26/09/2009 Why did they bother keeping the TSB part of the name? They are a far cry from the TSB I joined as a child. H.G. Well and all the characters - where did all that go? Now, far from a friendly face, if you miss a payment the first contact is a debt collector!

26/09/2009 LLOYDS TSB is the worst home insurance there is. they tried everything to get out of paying my claim its now gone to the ombudsman and if they cannot do anything I will take LLOYDS TSB insurance to court myself as I claimed for storm damage to my roof and they said it was wear and tear then said it was storm damage from earlier in the year then they said I should have put the claim in earlier now they have put my insurance up becourse of the claim they did not pay out on

15/09/2009 I took out home insurance with LLOYDS TSB and put in a claim for storm damage I got no reply from them I had to contact them LLOYDS TSB sent a assessor to my property he told me I had a claim for storm damage but then decided to over turn it and told me I was not covered as it was wear and tear I have now moved insurance and banks

09/09/2009 have been with Lloyds Pet Insurance for many years and have never had a problen until recently. My monthly premium has increased slightly each year due to my dog getting older and claims that have been made, which is fair and you would expect that. However, my dog has turned 12 this year and my premium has gone from £283 a year to £698 a year, thats from £23 a month to £58 a month. Like most people I never bothered to check the premiums, my fault entirely but you dont expect an increase of more than double. On contacting them they just said that they were due for a price increase blaming it on the underwriters. They know they have me as there aren't many insurance companies that will insure a 12yr old dog with ongoing health problems. Would recommend them for younger animals but be prepared for large price hikes when the animals get old.

19/08/2009 I wish I had something positive to say about this so called insurance company. Tried to claim for a leak and wanted a full investigation but only got fobbed off with their so called surveyor who gets paid by trying to reduce the claim! No replies, no updates, no settlement - nothing from TSB. Now I have been told that my premium will go up and that my excess will be upped from £50 to £250 due to my claim !!! Needless to say I will not renew my policy!

01/11/2008 How on earth do they expect people to feel comfortable typing in their personal details when on clicking "get a quote" you're taken away from the LloydsTSB website and transferred to uk2.u-k-i.com/quote? They bang on about being careful where you type in your bank details but then go and do something that looks just as fishy as those bank spam thingys I get in my box every day. Well, okay Lloyds, I've taken your advice about not typing personal information into sites that have abnormal web addresses ... I didn't get a quote from you!

31/10/2008 Lloyds TSB's homepage is so busy that it took me a minute to find the insurance link - it could be a lot more obvious. They offer a 5% discount for buying travel insurance online and say they have a 24 hour emergency helpline you can call from anywhere in the world. They put their small print about who they will and won't cover right at the start, which I liked. Their form is quick and easy to use but I wasn't impressed with the quote they offered me - I've had several cheaper quotes from other companies.
