06/01/2010 Refused my claim because i was a sleep when i was rob of my siut-case .
11/08/2009 Picked up a leaflet for landlord insurance and and was interested (I have 3 properties)The only contact is by 'phone and I am seriously deaf. Is there no other way I can get a quote ?
06/10/2008 The website was very slow to load and the front page was distractingly cluttered. But Sainsbury's offer a 10% discount if you buy travel insurance online, which I liked. For some reason they have two categories for Europe - one including Spain and Cyprus and one without. I'm going to Spain, and it wasn't clear whether this made my cover cheaper or more expensive. Their quote was the most expensive I've had so I won't be using them, although I did like the fact that they clearly listed exactly what was covered - not all companies do this.
10/06/2008 I admit they're not as tacky as most supermarket chain catch-all attempts, but still, there's something about being insured by your grocer that just doesn't feel right ;)
07/06/2008 First page made you expect a really expensive quote by saying basically that you get what you pay for with insurance. Offered the option for them to contact you back at a later date of your choosing. Main problem was that you were excluded from the insurance if you were in any job on their list, which included 'any occupation associated with nightclubs'. This ruled me out because I'm a barman in a nightclub. The list basically ruled out half the population I think! Mind you, at least it did that at the beginning to save you the effort of filling in the whole form.
29/05/2008 I did not find this an easy site to use. Insurance is a sub-section of their finance area so you have to look around to find it. Each type of policy is on a separate page so again I found I had to search through multiple pages to find the information I wanted. The supporting information is clearly presented but the process of looking for a quote is very slow (at least on the PC I was using). It was useful that you had to consider their exceptions as to what their insurance does not cover before proceeding to asking for a quote but again it slows the process down. Overall it is a horrible site to use, regardless of the quality of the products.
17/05/2008 Very good. Cheaper than my current supplier, but they won't protect your no claims discount. Might even switch anyway! Oh, and they do pet insurance. Fast and easy to use site. They also have an online demo for the finance site, in case you are new to all this. The site looks a little cheap, but for a change this didn't really put me off. Would definitely use again. Best so far.
