10/09/2010 After reading all the negative comments I thought I should add my own positive experience. I have made 3 claims in 2 years and all have been settled with no problems. One was for a windscreen, one not my fault and the other was my fault. Yes they do ask you to use the approved repair garage but all repairs were carried out at the garage of my choice without any problems. If you use your own garage they do not update the claim progress on the website but the garage should keep you informed anyway. No complaints and I'm still with them.

29/08/2010 worst car insurance ever,is cost me 1100 quid a year for my hyundai amica 1.0 litre for first year and now for second year they want 2.350 quid.they left me no choice to cancel my car insurance after they take my 1100 quid for a piece a paper stated 1 year NCD.

17/05/2010 Worst company ever. Recently had to claim. Lack of contact. Rude staff. Forced into using their "authorised" repairers after offering me a ridiculous settlement figure to use my own repairer. Their repairer took much longer and was much further away. Other driver admitted liability but they have no interest in fighting case saying they will accept split liability. Make up your own mind!

20/01/2010 I am not able to sign in to my swift cover account, not able to talk to a customer service and not able to get my renewed insurance certificated. Swift Cover is a Swipe Cover.

15/10/2009 Yes the are cheap, but you get what you pay for. Unless you've had to make a claim then your review is pointless. They are very slow and do not keep their so called track your claim on their website up to date. Ring them and they'll say its being looked at. Worst company, not so swift...you have been warned.

10/09/2009 Claims are outsourced to Simclaims Ltd, who also handle claims for other insurers. I found the claims to be inefficient and rude. They must be on a bonus or something as they restrict who you can get your car repaired with, it has to be one of their approved repairers. If you insist on using your preferred repairer they say they will only pay £23 / hour labour and you have to pay the rest. So, great way of buying insurance - until you want to make a claim.

21/08/2009 why cant i get to speak to someone on the phone

07/08/2009 try to logon to change car+driver cant call them yhey tell you to do it on the web site so try again can't so call them they tell you we are 100% internet so log on try again by now you have go mad still have a car with no cover but sold the car that was covered but by law you have to take a car of cover the you have sold not very helpfull will try again by fax

08/06/2009 Swiftcover, or simsclaims as the company you will actually deal with if you have to make a claim are THE WORST COMPANY I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I will never use Swift, or Axa again. They drag their feet and fail to do anything that they promise.

10/03/2009 when i added a 2nd car to my policy i had to start a fresh one which ran along side the 1st one ,they couldn`t have 1 for both .after getting rid of the 1st car i lost any no claims for the 6 months it ran for and had to pay a charge for cancelling even though i still had a car insured through them so i technically lost 6 months no claims for my troubles ..... i will be changing at the end even if i have to pay more

28/02/2009 I don't care what they are selling, people shouldn't think they have the right to put sweaty old people yelling nonsense on the tv and make me watch.

07/02/2009 They are always the cheapest but when you have to make a claim, they will scour every bit of their documentation to try and avoid paying out. This happened to me and is the overwhelming experience of most people. Check out their reviews on the web.

23/12/2008 Maybe cheaper premiums but when you actually claim they don't contact you or fight on your behalf, even when the accident is not your fault.

16/12/2008 Someone ran into the back of my car 18/11/08, admitted liability, had my car repaired and paid nearly ??400 for said repair. Have tracked my claim and "in dispute - split liability". I have emailed Swift Insurance 3 times and no response. Going to call tomorrow ... [edited].

11/12/2008 Have come on swift site to log in to check on insurance details..cant log on so thought I would phone them..telephone number cut off..is anyone else having a problem or is it just me..

25/11/2008 Have had to make a claim after someone ran into back of my car, even though there insurance had admitted liability still took forever with no contact at all from swift

09/10/2008 Swiftcover say that their pet insurance starts from £5 a month, which would be a pretty good price. Their quotation form was easy to complete but asked for more information than some companies - e.g. not all of them ask whether your pet is tagged. I did think the "description" field was odd though - it wasn't clear what information they wanted here. Unfortunately their quote for even their most basic level of cover was not at all competitive - in fact it was almost £80 higher than the cheapest quote I've had. I wasn't impressed.

25/06/2008 This company has a 100% money back guarantee if you find a cheaper quote elsewhere, although I'm not sure you could be bothered with all the hassle of continuing to check prices AFTER buying - sorting out one lot of insurance is enough! You can print your documents off immediately. Also, everything can be done online, even making a claim, which means there's no need to bother calling and waiting queues. Had to lie about my boyfriend's occupation on the quote form though because they don't cover doormen for some reason!

19/06/2008 I have a personal distaste for cute cartoons connected with insurance sites. However, the only complaint about this web page is the picture of the chicken. Beyond that it is well laid out, easy to use, and the quote form only requires minimal information. A nice feature, that could encourage me to use them is the ability to track the progress of any subsequent claim on a policy via their web site.

07/05/2008 They promise a 60 second quote, and they do! Priced about the same as Tesco, although they promise to return your money if you find a cheaper quote. Everything you click on opens a new window which is a bit unnecessary and annoying. But they do pet insurance. Although the real customer reviews are quite reassuring, if you believe they are genuine!
